About the role
You will support and modernize PeopleSoft HCM environments on active public-sector programs — the HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Time & Labor systems that pay and support government workforces. Functional and technical openings; both work on-site with client SMEs where the systems actually run.
What you'll do
- Provide functional and/or technical support for PeopleSoft HCM modules: HR, Payroll for North America, Benefits Administration, Time & Labor, and Absence Management.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into configurations, customizations, and clean functional specs.
- Develop and maintain PeopleCode, Application Engine programs, Component Interfaces, and integrations (technical track).
- Support payroll processing cycles, year-end processing (W-2), and open enrollment events.
- Support upgrades, PUM images, testing cycles, and cutover events.
- Troubleshoot production issues with clear root-cause write-ups; work daily with client HR and IT teams on-site.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft HCM experience, functional or technical.
- Deep knowledge of at least two HCM modules (HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, Absence).
- For technical roles: PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, and SQL.
- For functional roles: fit/gap analysis, configuration, and structured testing rigor.
- Experience in public-sector or similarly controlled environments.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Nice to have
- PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 with current PeopleTools.
- Fluid UI, Integration Broker, or REST/SOAP integration experience.
- Payroll tax update and year-end processing experience.
- Upgrade or selective-adoption (PUM) project experience.
