Salesforce Developer / Administrator

On-site · Client locations in New York, Kentucky, Maryland & other states (by engagement)

About the role

You will build and administer Salesforce for public-sector and commercial clients — from clean declarative automation to Apex and Lightning development to the org governance that keeps a growing implementation maintainable. On-site with client teams, owning the platform end to end.

What you'll do

  • Configure and administer Salesforce orgs: users, profiles, permission sets, security, and release management.
  • Build declarative automation with Flows — and know when code is the better answer.
  • Develop Apex classes/triggers and Lightning Web Components to quality and test-coverage standards.
  • Design and maintain integrations (REST/SOAP, middleware, event-driven) with enterprise systems.
  • Manage data quality: imports, dedupe, validation rules, and reporting/dashboards stakeholders trust.
  • Document configuration and changes — auditable orgs, not tribal knowledge.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience (admin, developer, or both).
  • Salesforce Administrator certification, Platform Developer I, or equivalent demonstrated depth.
  • Strong Flow-building experience and sound judgment on declarative vs. code.
  • For developer track: Apex, LWC, SOQL, and deployment tooling (change sets, SFDX, or DevOps Center).
  • Experience in public-sector or similarly controlled environments.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Government Cloud or Public Sector Solutions experience.
  • Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or CPQ implementations.
  • Additional certifications (Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, PD II).
  • MuleSoft or other integration-platform experience.
